Alloy 80A / Nimonic® 80A / 2.4952 / UNS N07080 – Precipitation-Hardenable Nickel-Based Superalloy

A high-performance precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium alloy strengthened by titanium and aluminum, engineered for high-temperature strength, creep resistance, and oxidation protection.

Rolled, solution annealed, age hardened, straightened
(Heat-treated to deliver exceptional mechanical properties in elevated-temperature conditions)

• Tensile Strength (Rm): min. 1,000–1,200 MPa

• Yield Strength (Rp0.2): min. 750–950 MPa

• Elongation: min. 15%

• Hardness: typically 300–370 HBW (~33–42 HRC depending on condition)

• Operating Temperature Range: up to 815 °C (continuous use)

Used in:
Turbine blades, exhaust valves, hot-section engine components, high-temperature bolting, nuclear and aerospace applications
