Alloy 1.4923 / X22CrMoV12-1 – QT1 Condition – High-Temperature Martensitic Stainless Steel
Martensitic stainless steel designed for high-temperature strength, thermal fatigue resistance, and structural stability. Heat-treated to QT1 condition, offering a balance between tensile strength and toughness for critical fasteners and components in elevated temperature service.
Hot rolled, quenched and tempered – QT1 condition
(QT1 offers a slightly softer, tougher condition than QT2, suitable for demanding high-temperature environments with mechanical shock or thermal cycling)
Tensile Strength (Rm): 850–1,000 MPa
Yield Strength (Rp0.2): min. 650 MPa
Elongation: min. 16–18%
Hardness: approx. 260–290 HBW (~25–30 HRC)
Operating Temperature Range: up to 600 °C
Toughness: Improved compared to QT2 (higher impact energy)
