Nitronic® 50 Round Bar Supplier

Looking for Nitronic® 50, UNS S20910 or XM-19 round bars?

WTE PowerSteel is a European supplier and stockholder of Nitronic® 50 (UNS S20910 / XM-19) round bars for demanding industrial applications requiring high mechanical strength, outstanding corrosion resistance and excellent non-magnetic properties. We supply certified material with full traceability, EN 10204 3.1 certification and fast worldwide delivery.

Nitronic® 50 is a nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel that combines exceptional mechanical strength with excellent corrosion resistance. Compared with conventional 316L stainless steel, Nitronic® 50 provides approximately twice the yield strength while offering superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking in aggressive environments.

One of the key advantages of Nitronic® 50 is its ability to remain essentially non-magnetic, even after cold working. This unique characteristic, combined with its high strength and excellent corrosion resistance, makes the alloy ideal for marine equipment, offshore systems, pumps, valves, shafts, Oil & Gas components and other demanding engineering applications where low magnetic permeability is required.

Why Choose Nitronic® 50?

Compared with conventional austenitic stainless steels, Nitronic® 50 provides significantly higher mechanical strength while maintaining outstanding corrosion resistance and excellent non-magnetic properties. The alloy delivers approximately twice the yield strength of 316L stainless steel, making it an excellent choice for highly loaded components operating in aggressive marine, offshore, chemical processing and Oil & Gas environments.

Key Benefits

  • Approximately twice the yield strength of 316L stainless steel
  • Excellent non-magnetic properties
  • Outstanding corrosion resistance
  • Excellent pitting resistance
  • Excellent crevice corrosion resistance
  • High mechanical strength
  • Excellent wear resistance
  • Good weldability
  • Excellent toughness at cryogenic temperatures
  • Long service life in aggressive environments
